There are 3 coin types in Legend of the Bones:

Copper Pieces (CP or denoted by the letter 'd')

    10CB = 1SS

    100CB = 1GP

Silver Shillings (SS or denoted by the symbol '/')

    1SS = 10CP

    10SS = 1GP

Gold Pieces (GP)

    1GP = 10SS

    1GP = 100CP


Typical Annual wages/income:

    Labourer/Unskilled:    100GP

    Man at Arms:            300GP

    Priest:                      200 - 5,000GP

    Artisan:                    500-1,000GP

    Innkeeper:                3,000-5,000GP

    Merchant:                 10,000-20,000GP

    Knight:                     50,000GP

    Noble:                      500,000 - 1,000,000GP

    Ruler:                       10,000,000GP


Average daily living costs:

This includes food/drink, housing, services, paying employees

    Working Class:             2SS

    Lower Middle Class:     5-10SS

    Upper Middle Class:     1-10GP

    Nobility:                      500 - 1000GP

    Ruler:                         10,000GP


Buyer's Guide

The cost of equipment and services in Legend of the Bones is different to those listed in Old School Essentials.

Successful haggling (Charisma Check) may reduce prices but 10%

Availability is assumed for an average size town (pop.1500+ with garrison).  Availability may vary at the discretion of the GameMaster.

Finding Treasure

The chance of finding random treasure, will be as stated in the Basic/Expert rules, with the following changes:

1. There are no electrum or platinum coins

2. All Treasure Type values listed are divided by 10

3. Magic Items are especially rare.  The only magic items to be randomly found are potions and scrolls, and even then the chance of finding these will never be more than 10%.  All other magic items, such as weapons and armour will only appear by intention design.
