Sceadugenga (Shadow-Walker)
[Shay-a-do-genga]
Sceadugenga are intelligent and malevolent creatures of shadow and darkness. It is said that they are formed by negative emotions; hate, anger, fear, jealousy, greed etc. They emerge from places where dark rituals have been performed, and walk abroad at night seeking souls upon whom they vent the emotions from which they are formed.

Surprise 3-in-6
Shadow Evasion - Upon a successful hit, Sceadugenga have a 3-in-6 chance to ignore all damage from mundane weapons by becoming 'one with the shadows', causing the weapon to pass through it. It cannot ignore damage from fire or magical weapons
Shadow-Eater - If both claw attacks hit the same target in one round, the Sceadugenga "pins" the victim’s shadow to the ground with its own. The target is held fast and cannot move or take physical actions. On the Sceadugenga's next turn, it automatically deals 2d6 damage as it "eats" the pinned shadow. The victim may attempt a Save vs. Paralysis at the end of each round to break free.
If the Sceadugenga is wounded while eating a shadow, the victim is released.
Weaknesses: Instantly destroyed by direct sunlight
Magic/Holy Light automatically causes 2d6 damage to Sceadugenga , and reduces the Sceadugenga's morale to 6 while in its presence. |
