General Rules
The Hellstones can only affect Humans.
Anyone within 10' of a Hellstone must make a save versus spell or:
a) Will suffer the negative attribute effects whilst in the area of effect
and
b) May behave in a detrimental manner associated with the Hellstone's sphere, as decided by the referee.
The Hellstones can only be willingly relinquished on a successful Wisdom check.
The Bearer of a Hellstone will, over time, will become obsessed by its sphere.
Special Abilities
Each time a Special Ability is used, the bear must make a save v death or lose 1 Soul Point. Soul Points (SP) are equivalent to Wisdom + Hit Dice level. If the bearer's Soul Points fall to 0, then their soul is lost to Hell.

The Amulets of Protection
Forged by the first Keepers, the amulets protect those that bear the Hellstones, or anyone who comes into close contact from the worst of their powers. While encased in an amulet, the following applies:
- Saves against a Hellstone's effects are made at a +4 Bonus
Recovering Soul Points
At the referee's discretion, Soul Points can be recovered, but would usually require undertaking some kind of trial, or performing an altruistic deed that comes with a significant personal cost.
