Goblins (also known by some as Orcs) are ugly, evil monsters who love inflicting pain, and delight in cruelty
and slaughter. They are the male offspring of Hags, through their union with unfortunate and deceived Humans, and are often found in the service of their mother (or mothers if the Hags are in a coven), but regardless are led by a Brute or Chief. Occasionally, goblins display magically ability which is inherited from the Hag mother, and these individuals go on to become Shamans. They are human-sized, generally tending to be slightly stronger than the average human, but not as intelligent. They have skin which ranges from grey to brown to pink, and beady red eyes. As half-fae, Goblins have a naturally long lifespan, and can live up to 200 years, although their violent society more-often than not means that most meet an untimely demise. The chief of a goblin tribe is always the strongest and most vicious individual, who is eventually replaced when a bigger, more ferocious goblin kills the incumbent. If the Hag mother is dead, then the Goblin's will live as an independent tribe, often raiding Human settlements for plunder and slaves. Female slaves may be used to breed; the resulting offspring will always be male and may look a little more human, but are goblins in all other sense. These half-bloods will never be shamans and being of the lowest status will unlikely become chiefs.
